Request a Free Quote020 4652 1654 ## About these terms These terms apply to quotations, orders, supply and installation by Shutters & Blinds Co., company number 17395579, based in Chingford, E4 9TG. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. ## Website content Information on this website is provided in good faith as a guide to the products and services we offer. Product photographs illustrate typical finishes and are not a representation of any specific installation. Nothing on this site is a binding offer; a contract is formed only when you accept a written quotation from us. ## Consultations and quotations The home consultation, measuring service and written quotation are free and carry no obligation to order. Quotations are based on the measurements and specification agreed at the consultation. Where you accept a quotation, the price agreed is the price you pay, unless you later ask us to change the specification, the size or the number of openings, or unless access or the fabric of the building differs materially from what was visible at the measure. ## Made-to-measure orders Products are manufactured to the measurements and specification confirmed on your order, which is why we measure rather than work from figures supplied to us. Please check the colour, material, control side, opening and fitting details on your order carefully before it is placed into manufacture. Lead times quoted are estimates based on supplier timescales; your fitting timeframe is confirmed at order and we will tell you promptly if a supplier delay affects it. ## Installation You agree to provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, along with a power supply where one is needed. Our fitters take care to protect your property and remove their waste. Where an opening is out of square, previously altered, or where the surrounding structure will not safely take a fixing, we will explain the options before proceeding. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects in windows, frames or plasterwork. ## Payment Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out on your quotation or order and agreed with you before manufacture begins. Balances fall due on completion of the installation unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. ## Cancellation and changes Because products are made to your own measurements and specification, the statutory cancellation right for off-premises sales does not apply to bespoke items once manufacture has begun. If you need to change or cancel an order, tell us as soon as possible: where manufacture has not started we will do what we can, and where it has, costs already incurred may be payable. ## Warranties, repairs and aftercare Products are covered by the applicable product and manufacturer warranties, and our installation work is carried out with reasonable care and skill. Warranties do not cover accidental damage, misuse, or wear from failing to follow the operating and cleaning guidance given at handover. We also carry out repairs and servicing on existing shutters, blinds and awnings, whether or not we originally fitted them; that work is quoted separately. ## Child safety Blinds with cords or chains are supplied with the safety devices required by the relevant standards, and we fit them on installation. Please keep them in place and in use, particularly where there are young children in the property. ## Complaints and governing law If something is not right, contact us on 020 4652 1654 or at adminshuttersandblindsco@gmail.com and we will put it right where we can.
